Francesco Cellesi is Group Leader CEN - European Centre for Nanomedicine in Milan, and Associate Professor at Politecnico di Milano, Dipartimento di Chimica, Materiali ed Ingegneria Chimica "G. Natta". He is also member of the Renal Research Laboratory, Fondazione IRCCS Ca' Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico, Milano. Previously, he was Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy, University of Manchester, UK (2006-2013). He completed his PhD in the Prof. Jeff Hubbell’s group at the ETH Zurich (2000-2003). His main research interests focus on the design and processing of nano biomaterials for novel drug delivery systems and diagnostics, cell encapsulation and tissue engineering.
