Davide Mazza is a Project Leader at S. Raffaele Scientific Institute since 2014, Group Leader at CEN – European Centre for Nanomedicine in Milan since 2015 and Lecturer at Università Vita-Salute S. Raffaele since 2015.
He completed his Ph.D. in Physics at University of Genoa, in the laboratory of Prof. A. Diaspro (2005-2008), moved to the National Institutes of Health (Bethesda, MD, USA) for a Post-Doctoral Research (2008-2012) and returned to Italy as a Marie-Curie Awarded Post-Doctoral fellow at Università Vita-Salute S. Raffaele (2012-2014).
His research focuses on the development and the application of advanced fluorescence microscopy methods to detect, track and quantify the behavior of individual molecules in living-cells, with a specific focus on the kinetic behavior of cancer-related transcription factors.
